family dinner

vacation day

I took a vacation day off work today so I  went thrift store shopping today. I got a lot of good items for cheap. this was $1.99 they are crocheted bird houses.

next is 2 dolls $1.99 each they are so cute.

next $4.99 the hat look like it would fit an 18 inch doll, so I don't know what i'm going to do with it yet.

next $1.99 the purple box is a planter, the round yellow ball is a bean bag ball, a pillow, a stove, on the right a fridge with no door, pink box, the blue bag could be for an 18 inch doll.

next $3.99 the man is glued to the chair.

next $1.99 I love these items, but that one little piece on the left I have no ideal what it is.

the movies

I made a quick diorama of the movie theater, I will make a building one day. I got the idea from my froggy stuff on how to make a theater, it was so easy, I even printed out some of  her ticket printies. so there was two separate showing's of purple rain. here are the people watching the first show.

I will make a concession stand later and add the theater name on the back of seats above the ticket stand so that don't be so plain. I also need to find another movie and get more ink for my printer. thanks shirley

popcorn

I'm making popcorn for my movie  theater. I'm using little paint container's I took the caps off, then I put in a  piece of pom poms put glue on them and then put yellow beads for butter popcorn. I should have made some with white beads for plain popcorn. next time I need more popcorn I will do that. my dollies are going to enjoy some popcorn. thanks shirley

the wedding dress

Carmen is getting married, she has not pick a date yet, but it will be soon. Danita  has a few dresses she is showing Carmen. this is  dress number 1

window shopping

just me and one of my Barbie's doing some window shopping.

the greenhouse

I purchased the gazebo from miniatures.com back in 2003 I should have taken a picture of the before. here is the after, I did a little kit bashing.

Brenda went to Emily's flower shop to pick up a few items for her greenhouse.

once she is home, she started planting. the plant in front of her and the one on the left are from a real poinsettia I got at Christmas. I just didn't want to throw the plant out.

 the plant on the right is a real snake plant.

later reese came home for lunch and made sandwiches and coffee and dessert.

after lunch reese said goodbye and went back to work.

Brenda also stopped at granny's antique shop and picked up a birdhouse.

I will leave Brenda alone to finish with her greenhouse, she will be adding more plants and flowers . thanks shirley
